Alrighty, so today we are talking about the Essential Bag! Here is a very close version of mine ~
When I was looking for a new tote awhile back I knew I wanted one that could transition to work (2 days a week) to my mom life. This tote totally fit the bill!! It fits all of my work stuff...my planner, water, a book, lunch PLUS all of my "mom stuff"--small makeup pouch, phone, wallet, Wet Ones, Bandaids, random snacks, etc.
Burgandy Cords: Loft (similar, in Tibetan Red)
Polka Dot Top: via Poshmark (similar, option)
Blazer: Loft (similar, great casual option)
Earrings: Stella & Dot (exact)
Leopard Heels: Payless (similar, flats)
I'm at a point now with my kids where I don't need a GIANT bag for diapers/wipes/extra clothes, etc, but it's really nice to have a nice, roomy bag to stuff things into because one of the kids is inevitably going to ask me to hold this, hold that...blankets, books, bags, you name it!
I try to keep my bag organized because with a tote like this, it's easy for it to become an abyss of JUNK! Here's a little sneak peek into my bag ~

Your tote is the perfect size and I love the color! I have to be able to fit in a water bottle and lunch! I have the same planner cover too!

Love that bag! I got a similar one from the anniversary sale, but it had this smell that I couldn't get over, but for that price, I might have to try that one out! Can't wait for your create28, it was so great the last time.

ReplyDeleteI so want a cognac tote. I'm glad you showed it here because I can actually see that it doesn't overpower you. I think we are similar in size so that really helps me! Love the one you have for sure.

ReplyDeleteI think that's a great bag--I love the zipper details. I recently moved from a diaper bag + purse combo to just one big bag for all my + my toddler's needs and I love not having to carry around a million bags! I agree that keeping it organized is a lifesaver though. Love this look too--the dots, leopard, and colored pants make such a fun combo!
