Seven on Sunday: Summer Challenge Week 6!

Happy Sunday!! Yet another fun week..until I saw the Back to School display at Target!! Ugh! The countdown to the end of summer is starting!!! Trying to enjoy it all!!!

Day 1: Sunday--We left our campsite and made a stop at the Henry Cowell Redwood forest on the way home. We were all in awe!!! Look at these two!!

Day 2: Monday-- On Monday I had a 4 foot pile of laundry from camping (I know, you **think** I'm exaggerating), so we didn't do much. We did go outside and ride bikes with our neighborhood friends, though. Look at Sarah's moves on her scooter!!

Day 3: Tuesday--We checked off another "summer bucket list" activity on Tuesday--Jelly Belly Factory Tour! We've been a couple of times and it's so much fun!! The tour keeps EVERYONE entertained--even Sarah! Of course they give out FREE JELLY BEANS!!! You can also taste their wonderful flavors such as barf, skunk spray, moldy cheese and toothpaste-YUM!

Day 4: Wednesday--Ok, today was a fail day for "family fun!" I went to lunch in Napa for a friend's birthday! #epicfail #mommyhadfun #foodporn

Can I get an "amen??"

 

Day 5--: Thursday--Pool date with besties!

Day 6: Friday--My friend and I went to a killer strength class at the gym and the kiddos had their first playdate in the gym playroom. They had a blast, and I am so sore I can't walk. Success! Of course, I didn't take a pic...maybe because I was so sore I couldn't get my phone out of my purse. At any rate, I did take this pic on Friday night...is Brookey a giant or what??! #scary #thoselegsaintmine

Day 7: Saturday--Brookey's last day of track camp. They had a mini meet so we cheered her on! She did AWESOME! The scores are still coming in, but I know they got 2nd in the 4x100 relay (she ran anchor) and 4th in the 400! She nearly DIED in the 400...it took every ounce of her being to finish it but she finished strong. We are so proud of her!!!

This next week is going to be BUSY preparing for my sister in law's wedding and 2 weeks of houseguests!!!! I have a feeling our "Summer Fun" will be family trips is Costco and Target! That should make for a super exciting Seven on Sunday next week!! Have a great one! ~XO
