Brookey's 6th Year Video

Here is the annual video. For the past 5 years, I've opted for sappy songs, but this year was not a real "sappy" year. It was a year filled with firsts and fun! First lost tooth, first camping trip, first "pet." And a lot of fun little trips--Tahoe, camping, apple picking...

So instead of sappy, I chose Brookey's favorite song this year: California Girls. If this song is ever on the radio, she sings it at the top of her lungs. I did opt to use the Kidz Bop version for the video. I don't think "sipping on gin and juice" was really appropriate for this point in her life :)

5 Years Old

In less than a week, my BABY will be 5 years old. Wow! Everyone said time would fly by, and it sure has! The saying goes that with kids, "the days may be long, but the years are short." I probably think about the quote every time the kids birthdays come around!

Below is my annual tribute to Brookey's 5th year. Since I just don't have the time or patience to scrapbook anymore, I make these videos each year for the kids for their "digital scrapbook." It's so much fun to look back at all the pictures and videos from the year and to really see how much they've grown and how much they have accomplished! For the past 4 years, I have made Scott cry watching these videos...let's see if I can get him again this year!!! :)

3rd Year Video

So far I've been good about keeping a video journal each year of Brookey's 3 years...hopefully I won't slack off next year with the new baby!!! After taking 1000's of pictures each year, it's nice to condense it all into a three-minute "highlight" reel. It also shows how much she's changed in just one year!
