I have no idea if there is any truth to this, all I know is I love white before AND after Labor Day!!! I have two ways I like to wear it in the fall~
1) Paired with "fallish" items such as plaids, vests, boots, etc.
2) Paired with neutrals or "winter whites."
Here are my two looks ~
Look #1 ~ Paired with plaid and a cargo vest
Plaid Shirt: Kohl's (similar, similar)
Cargo Vest: TJ Maxx (option)
Ankle Boots: similar, similar
Necklace: Stella & Dot (exact)
Look #2 ~ The neutrals look
Sweater: Nordstrom Rack (similar, similar)
Leopard Scarf: H&M (similar, similar)
Boots: Corso Como/Nordstrom (similar)

I love how you gave us more than one tip! I especially love the second, all-neutral look! I purchased a pair of white jeans on super sale maybe a month or so ago but I'm still not sure about how they look on me. You've inspired me to try them on again! I MIGHT be wearing them with my trendy item for "Try a Trend" on Monday!
ReplyDeleteStill feeling a little apprehensive about wearing my white pants in October. El Paso is about a year or two behind with any trend. I am pretty certain I won't look like a trendsetter but more like someone who didn't read the memo about not wearing white after Labor Day. Could you do a spot on local TV here about wearing white year-round and then I could try it? You look fab in both outfits but my fav is the leopard.
