Seven on Sunday ~ Week 25

Day 1: Sunday ~ On Sunday we packed up the campsite and headed home! It was a long 3 hour drive home but we went through Mendocino--an area we had never explored and it was absolutely gorgeous!

Day 2: Monday ~ The kiddos started VBS! Next year Sarah will be able to do it and Brookey will be a helper! It's always such a fun week!

Day 3: Tuesday ~ The weather has been beautiful so many afternoons are spent outside with Popsicles :)

Day 4: Wednesday ~ Silly pictures on the fence :)

Day 5: Thursday ~ While the kids were at VBS, Sarah and I headed up to Napa to meet a friend. She ordered a brownie which turned out to to be bigger than her head! HA! She couldn't even eat half of it!

Day 6: Friday ~ This little "detox/refresh" came in the mail! It will be underway starting Monday!!! Wish me luck!

It was also the end of VBS! Fun week!

Day 7: Saturday ~ When my mom visits, we can always expect amazing food! I ate this soup for 3 days! It was SO GOOD!

And Scott and I were finally able to cerebrate our 13th wedding anniversary with a day a fun wine tasting! It was SUCH a pretty day!!

Seven on Sunday ~ Week 24 Camping Edition!

Since most of last week was pretty boring--we are all just getting adjusted to being home for the summer-- I decided to just do camping pics since it was truly the HIGHLIGHT of the kids' summer so far! They dubbed this "the best camping trip ever!" So I'd call it a success :)

Off to Fort Bragg--3 hours away!

 We made it! The girls didn't like the winding roads so they had a little ginger ale :)

This was the view from our campsite! For reals! :) It was amazing and literally RIGHT on the beach! We were in heaven! (Brooke made the fire pit!)

 On Saturday, we went to Glass Beach a place that's covered with all sort of Sea Glass. Unfortunately, my phone AND charger died, so I didn't get any pics! LOL! This was the view from the State Park where the beach was. It was AMAZING!

On the way home from Glass Beach I saw a winery located on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. OF COURSE I was going to stop and check it out (good thing I was driving!!) The had the most unique wines and the view.....breathtaking!!!

 SOOOOO beautiful!!!

Another successful camping trip in the books! The kids are already asking when we're going back to this place!!!

Seven on Sunday ~ Week 23

It was a crazy-fun week!!

Day 1: Sunday ~ Because we don't save "the good stuff" for special occasions! #lifeisshort

These two in a chair eating Popsicle! Their love/hate relationship cracks me up. Sarah ADORES her big brother! I mean, ADORES HIM! It's super cute :)

Day 2: Monday ~ My last day at work and Sarah's last day at daycare! She has been going to my friend's little home daycare since she was 5 months old!! Now it's on to preschool! And she is READY!!!

Day 3: Tuesday ~ Tuesday, June 7th was our 13th wedding anniversary! Didn't we look like KIDS in this pic??! (we were). One of our old neighbors came over and commented, "Wow, you guys look REALLY young in that pic...." Because we look...soo..old...now!!???!!

Day 4: Wednesday ~ LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! Ok, this day made my heart soooo full! Not only because I LOVE the last day of school (#nolunchmaking) but because Brooke's class put on the final Mass of the year and she got to read and sing a solo! It was a hard year for her on many fronts and this ended it all on such a high note! #nopunintended!

She had a long reading and read FLAWLESSLY. I swear,  I would have just cried and peed my pants if I had to read that AND do a solo in front of 500 people!! #shootmenow

So funny--at the City Track Meet, if the kids complete ALL the events, they get Iron Kids bread..it's a BIG DEAL to get the bread! The kids who complete all the events are seriously SO PROUD to be recognized in front of the school and get their bread! I love it! The medal is for her 1st place long jump! #daddysgenes

Obligatory last day of school pic :) I dragged them to do it before they changed out of their uniforms..thus, no shoes for Brooke! LOL!

We can't forget Sarah on the last day of school! This was her bestie at daycare for the past 3 years! Don't they look soooo happy??!

 Day 5: Thursday ~ Baseball season is OFFICIALLY over--end of the season party. Weather-wise it was a rough season..soooo many games got canceled and the wind and the rain made it TORTURE to sit and watch most of the games. But as far as Buddy's skills on the field, it was a great season! I definitely think he enjoyed this season the most.

He loves baseball and I think it's a great game for his personality. I think we will give him one more year of machine pitch though, before he tries out for the Minors and it really starts to get "serious!" :)

Day 6: Friday ~ SUCH a fun day! Lots of Brookey's classmates came over to the pool and had a little end of the year pool party! How many kids can you fit in a hot tub?! #gross #drainthatwater

 After a day of swimming it was off to $2 Taco Night at the clubhouse by the pool! It was a beautiful night!

And....this is how we end the night after a full day of swimming and tacos! I'm pretty sure I looked the same!!!

Day 7: Saturday ~ It was a beautiful day for wine club pickup at Rombauer! It is the kids absolute favorite picnic spot!

 I swear, I DO NOT tell her to pose like this! I just say, "Sarah, let's take a picture!" and this is what she does! Seriously, girl. She just got done saying "Buddy, get out of the way! This is my picture!" #princess #diva #lordhelpherhusband

Seven on Sunday ~ Week 22

Day 1: Sunday~ Just a gorgeous day and lots of chaos!

Day 2: Monday ~ Pool season is here!

Day 3: Tuesday ~ Playoff Game 2...they choked :( They just got outplayed. Can't believe the season is over!

Day 4: Wednesday ~ My baby's basketball pics! She looks so grown up!

Day 5: Thursday ~ I found this pic on my phone--LOL! It has been a LONG year for this girl. VERY glad it's ending!!!

Day 6: Friday ~ Little by little our house is becoming more "liveable!" This weekend we got the garage cleaned out! The kitchen is DONE! Our breakfast "nook" is in place! I love that we have family and friends gathering here almost every weekend! It's so nice to finally be able to have space to entertain!

Day 7: Saturday ~ So I LOVE hydrangeas! I wanted them as my wedding flowers but one of the ladies we interviewed for a florist prompted told me, "No, honey--hydrangeas are out of your price range." Enough said! Well, now I FINALLY have a hydrangeas of my VERY OWN! They were NOT liking the heat this weekend (see, they are a little wilty), but they I walk out my door every morning and they make me so happy!
